We are actually focused on process control systems in the field of power generation. We provide, for instance, feasibility studies for compressor trains as part of LNG plants. Our key aspects here are safety and protection measures, but we are also involved with other regards such as motor rating questions or problems about specific modes of operation. Besides we offer support in evaluating measurements on component parts “as built”.
Our main tool is the dynamic computer simulation. Our techniques encompass the application of mathematical methods as well as the consideration of thermodynamic questions of the underlying physical process.
A special engagement of ours is related to the simulation of very large gas turbine units. For far more than one decade we maintain support in the development and improvement of associated dynamical simulation models. Frequently asked questions in this direction regard control and trip problems and, moreover, load rejection and frequency stabilization problems. Here as well we extensively use dynamic computer simulation.
Beyond that we are involved with various issues such as design and development questions which lead to optimization problems, statistical questions, and related software engineering tasks.
